Spring Break

I had a whole week off for spring break and went up to Vernal. It was so good to spend a whole week with Nate. I soak up every minute that we can be together. I also spent a lot of time with my mom, grandma, and sister-in-law Steph. I was able to have lunch with my best friends from high school. It was fun to catch up with each other and talk about what is going on in all our lives. It is so good to know that I will still have girlfriends when I move back to Vernal. Especially since they all have kids and can help me out with this new adventure of motherhood! Nate had drill that weekend so I drove to Salt Lake. I stayed with Robin,Brent and the kids. Robin is making an adorable quilt for the baby that I can't wait to see finished. I also went to lunch with my roommates from college. So good to see them too! It had been at least two years since we were able to get together last. I love love love those girls and it was so good to catch up with them. The next day I went to see Todd and Taylor's apartment and we all went to Dad and Judy's for the day. I ended up taking a two hour nap on the couch. I guess Brookie was crawling all over me and I never felt a thing! I never knew the meaning of tired until I got pregnant! Brooklyn is excited to be an aunt and thinks it is hilarious that Dad and Judy are going to be grandparents. I stayed the night at Grandma and Grandpa Batty's . Grandma always takes such good care of me! It was such a great week filled with friends and family!!! This last weekend Nate came to St. George for my ultrasound and both our moms were able to make it as well. It was so fun to see baby girl moving around and such a comforting feeling to know that everything looks good and that she is growing normally. It was a blast to have our moms here and see how excited they are!!! We are very blessed with amazing family and LOTS of amazing family. Our baby is going to be so spoiled and loved!
